SIS SCHOOLS - How to resolve the issue where students are mark as absent but they did attend the class.

Dear STASY in Schools members.

It appears as if some staff are still experiencing issues with Attendance saving as Absent.

The system marks all students as Present by default and users should see the tick boxes under the Present Column ticked when selecting the Class and date for whom they want to capture attendance.

We are investigating this matter and would like to recommend the following in trying to resolve this issue:

Sign out of STASY and back in
Go to Capture Attendance and search for the relevant class
If the ticks do not display at all - Clear Cache - CTRL+SHIFT+R (simultaneously)
The screen will refresh
Follow steps 1 - 2 and check if the ticks are now populating automatically
If the ticks appear automatically, amend if required (if you have absent students)
Continue to SAVE

If the above does not appear for you, please do the following:

Click the Radio button next to "Mark all - Absent" (all students will have a tick under Absent)
Click the Radio button next to "Mark all - Present" (all students will have a tick under Present)
Amend any students that should be Absent or Other
Click on SAVE
